The Great Wall of China Restaurant was established in 1983 in the beautiful mountain town of Ruidoso, New Mexico. Originally from Taiwan, the Cheng family opened the Great Wall in Ruidoso because of the beauty of the town and how friendly the community was.
The style of our cuisine is a combination of traditional flavors with some blending of American tastes. Along with many years of experience in Chinese cuisine, Chef Ryan is now proud to offer the experience of sushi to his repetoire. Chef Ryan has studied at other fine dining establishments in Texas, Ohio, New Mexico, and California, and he took extra time out of the 2004 to learn a few new things at Sushi School in California's Bay Area. With over 25 years of dining experience, he has also cooked in Los Angeles, the San Francisco Bay Area,Cincinatti, OH, and Santa Fe, NM. Please, come join us for a dining experience of a lifetime.
